Annie McLaughlin, Weatherton Const. Co. is a Safety officer who has "had enough" of the MSHA inspector's making up the Standards and enforcement policy on the spot. Since November 2004 she has relied on the Law as written and the published agency enforcement to get even and equitable treatment from the enforcement agency. Her accounting background gives her special skills to "cross T's and dot I's". |
| Bob Bok, owner/operator of Bok Construction started his business in 1956 and has the reputation of running an honest and reliable business. He said that the Law explained to him what he could do to assure fair treatment from the inspector. $afepro would like to clone this businessman and place him in every Aggregates operation in the United States. He is one of our Industry's treasures. |

Research and study take place throughout the Seminar. Actual citations and court cases are examined to allow the organizations to understand the enforcement process and to factor it into their business plan for their sites and their people. |
|
In all areas of the classroom Managers, Foremen, and Miners master the information more currently and thoroughly than the average inspector does. When the enforcement agent shows up for the semi-annual inspection these leaders are better prepared for the process than the inspector is! |
