"Everyone,

Even though we just won a battle in Washington by pulling surface aggregate operations away from the main provisions in the 2010 Miner Act, we still have to deal with nonsense violations. We received a non-S&S citation yesterday at Mighty Fine Quarry. The inspector says you can stick your finger in the holes of the expanded metal guarding. Yeah right!

Comments from the inspector, “I can give you this one citation or three inspectors can show up next week and give you twenty”, in other words, “Government Extortion”.

YES, we are contesting it, primarily on principle.

I want to congratulate the "Mighty Fine Team" on their hard work. The facility looked great!"
